The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years of experience in quantity surveying.
Responsibilities
Assist in procurement of suppliers and sub-contractors. Responsibility for a specific area within a project. Provide effective contractual and commercial support to the Commercial Manager and their team. All Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, procurement, valuation and agreement of work sections. Assist with preparation of interim applications for payment and internal valuations and invoicing. Measurement and agreement of simple subcontractors’ accounts. Assisting in preparation of loss and expense submissions. Preparation and agreement of records Assisting with the preparation of final accounts, including pricing Assist in the preparation of monthly contract review reports Progress towards and achieve professional status Direct works labour management. Detailed structures volume/spend allocation & tracking. Keep your manager fully advised of any issue/risk which has arisen or might arise and which could affect the business and/ or project Form an integral part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for delivery and client service Take an active role in ensuring Health and Safety is managed effectively on the project/ within the business area Report all hazards and unsafe practices they observe to the site manager. Co operates with other departments and sub contractors in Health and Safety matters. Any other reasonable requests commensurate with role and position in the business.
