Delivered in partnership with the World Curling Federation, the inaugural tournament welcomed participants of all abilities to take part in a fast-paced and accessible format of the sport. With no prior experience required, residents and visitors competed in pairs, embracing both the competitive spirit and social nature of the event.
Throughout the day, guests enjoyed a mix of competitive play and spectating, with live coverage of the Winter Olympics adding to the overall experience. Food and drink were available throughout, creating a relaxed and engaging setting for both participants and spectators.
The event marked the launch of what is set to become a recurring addition to The Curling Club’s programme, celebrating community, competition and inclusive sport within New Jackson.
