Lee has been with the company for 12 years, first starting with us via a part-time, sponsored university placement, while he studied Quantity Surveying. Lee was quickly offered an apprenticeship and through a combination of his studies, gaining experience on the job and a desire to progress, he completed his degree and has worked his way up with support from the company to become a Commercial Manager.
Lee highly values this working and development culture and has praised how accessible and supportive Renaker has been for him and so many others. In addition, Lee celebrates the variety of the working environment here and unique challenges he has to face on a daily basis.
Jasmine got her first role with the team after she left college in summer 2017. She initially worked as an apprentice project administrator for four months before being offered the opportunity to become a trainee quantity surveyor in November of the same year. While still working with Renaker in her first year, Jasmine then enrolled into Salford University and began a Quantity Surveying degree, which she recently completed in January 2021.
Now she’s working as a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor and praises the fact that unlike many other companies, she and many others have been given the support and opportunity to develop their careers. Jasmine also enjoys the strength of the team here and the great relationships she has developed over the years with her colleagues.
Faye has been with Renaker for seven years and originally started here as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. She is now an Assistant Accountant, as Faye was given the opportunity to train to be an Accountant while working with us.
More recently she has also been furthering her progression with funding for continued Accountancy training from the company. On top of being able to develop her career, Faye also enjoys the camaraderie here at Renaker and how it’s very much a team dynamic with everyone pulling in the same direction.
Mike joined the team in 2009 having joined the company as a trainee. After working his way through the ranks, he is now a Commercial Manager working on the Greengate Masterplan. His time with Renaker has given him opportunities to advance and develop his career, and today, this is something Mike champions – particularly with new and junior members of staff.
He also enjoys that Renaker offers a diverse environment, with colleagues who share the same passion to deliver high quality schemes. This is in addition to the positive company culture, which he feels allows employees to be themselves, promotes enthusiasm and encourages productivity from within.
