CSR
Corporate social responsibility is important to us as a business. We are committed to investing in the development of young people.
Charity
We are passionate about nurturing local talent, and are the proud sponsors of Trafford Football Club under 9s.
We have also supported Z-arts theatre, an arts centre for children and young people based in Hulme, Manchester city centre. The centre engages in 100,000 people per year in outreach programmes, and houses excellent on-site facilities including: a 230-seat theatre, exhibition gallery, recording studio, music and dance studios.
Didsbury High School
Supporting the development of young people is important to Renaker. Construction is an established industry, and we want to play our part in attracting and developing the next generation of construction managers, engineers and quantity surveyors. We feel it is important to highlight the fantastic career opportunities available to them early on.
One of the things we’ve done is partnering with Class of Your Own (the award-winning creators of the Design Engineer Construct! Learning Programme) to co-adopt Didsbury High School to promote apprenticeships in Construction Project Management and Quantity Surveying. Class of your Own created the Design Engineer Construct! Learning Programme to provide young people with opportunities to achieve construction related qualifications at school and they have a real passion for supporting schools to open pathways into construction.
Our relationship with Didsbury High School gives us the pleasure of sharing our knowledge and experience with the students who are showing an interest in construction. We’ve invited them to our construction sites, shown our development plans, as well as visited them at school to talk about specific roles supporting them with projects around sustainability.
For us and Didsbury High School, it’s about bringing construction to life, taking learning outside of the classroom, and breaking down the myths around the construction industry encouraging the next generation of people to look after the built environment for many years to come.
“We are so pleased to have the opportunity to be working with Renaker.
Having industry professionals visit the school to work with our students is invaluable.
It hugely enhances students’ experiences as it allows them to learn from,
and to be inspired by the experts. We are excited to work with and learn from the
expertise at Renaker and look forward to many more visits as our partnership grows.”

Macmillan coffee mornings
We support Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting Coffee Mornings at our Head Office and across all of our sites. We encourage all staff to get involved. Our event on 17th October 2022 raised over £2000 alone, and we’ve raised over £4000 so far for the charity.
